I've really fallen down in some kind of sweet hole. It's really nice and cozy here so I might stay here for a while... Here down below you'll find a free crochet pattern for macarons. But be careful! They are highly addictive! You have been warned!

MATERIAL
Yarn: The macaron is crocheted with two colours. Great for scrap yarns!
(ex. BC Garn Alba 50g = 160 m)
Crochet hook: a size that works with both yarns. (ex. 3 mm)
Stuffing
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker (optional): This might help you to keep track of where your row starts and ends.
ABBREVIATIONS [US-terms]
r = row, st = stitch, sl st = slip stitch, ch = chain stitch, sc = single crochet, inc = increase, dec = decrease, fb = front loop, bl = back loop
MACARON - FREE CROCHET PATTERN [US-terms]
▪ The macaron is crocheted in a spiral with two different colours (A and B).
PART 1 (Colour A and B)
r 1: 2 ch, 8 sc in the second ch from the hook. (8) = magic circle
r 2: [inc]x8. (16)
r 3: [sc, inc]x8. (24)
r 4: [2 sc, inc]x8. (32)
r 5: [3 sc, inc]x8. (40)
r 6: 40 sc. (40) r 7 (fl): 40 sc. (40)
Change colour to B! r 7 (bl): 40 sc. (40) r 8: 40 sc. (40) ▪ Cut off the yarn and fasten the ends.
PART 2 (Colour A)
r 1: 2 ch, 8 sc in the second ch from the hook. (8) = magic circle
r 2: [inc]x8. (16)
r 3: [sc, inc]x8. (24)
r 4: [2 sc, inc]x8. (32)
r 5: [3 sc, inc]x8. (40)
r 6: 40 sc. (40)
r 7 (fl): 40 sc. (40)
▪ Cut off the yarn but save approx. 30 cm so that you have something to sew the two parts together with.
ASSEMBLING ▪ Sew part 1 and 2 together and stuff the macaron as you go. ▪ Cut off the yarn and fasten the ends.
