FLAMINGO AMIGURUMI | Assembling and crochet pattern

Updated: May 1

In this blog post, you'll find the assembling instructions for Frank the amigurumi flamingo. The assembling instructions are also included in the crochet PDF pattern that you'll find here!

Frank is the amigurumi that we've been crocheting together in the April CAL 2021. Frank the flamingo is inspired by my sister's love for flamingos. Frank is a handsome flamingo that loves his new and shiny rubber boots and you'll find him in all the pretty colors of the rainbow!

HOW TO ASSEMBLE FRANK THE FLAMINGO AMIGURUMI

  1. Weave in all the extra yarn ends (if you didn't already do that). Save one string of yarn on each part that's going to be attached to the flamingo body (beak, eyes, wings, and legs).

  2. Stuff the beak and the legs (if you didn't already do that).

  3. Pin the beak into place (between r 9 and r 15 or where you think they look nice) and sew it onto the head.

  4. Pin the eyes into place (between r 8 and r 13 or where you think they look nice) and attach them to the head, one on each side of the head.

  5. Pin the wings into place (between r 46 and r 53 or where you think they look nice) and attach them to the body, one on each side.

  6. Squeeze the opening of the legs together and pin the legs to the bottom of the body. Sew them on between r 56 and r 62 or where you think they look nice.
