DECEMBER CAL 2021 | Part 8
The December CAL 2021 is coming to an end! We have only 2 parts and assembling left! Part 8 of our secret amigurumi CAL includes the crochet pattern for a pair of happy eyes. This part is very quick and easy, just perfect for catching up with the rest of the parts. Will you be ready for the assembling party on Sunday?
Feel free to share your progress in the Facebook group and on Instagram. I'm having so much fun scrolling through all of your pictures and following your progress. Use the hashtags #garnknutencalparty and #decembercal2021 to get found by me and other crochet alongers!
Not signed up yet? No worries, you can still join the party here! (The CAL closes on 24/12!)

HAPPY EYES - CROCHET PATTERN
The eyes are not crocheted in a spiral but with a seam.
End each row with a sl st in the first stitch of the row and a ch. These stitches are not counted for at the end of the row.
The new row always starts in the same stitch as the sl st.
The eyes are crocheted with the color B.
r 1: 2 ch, 8 sc in the second ch from the hook. sl st, ch. (8) = magic circle
r 2: [inc]x8. sl st, ch. (16)
End the row with an invisible join.
Cut off the yarn, but save approx. 30 cm so that you have something to attach the eyes to the head with.
Weave in the other yarn end.
Embroider or surface (6) sl st eyes with color C onto the white part.
Here's a video on how to crochet happy eyes. Just remember to end after r 2!
